Are fiberglass doors better than wood?
Are fiberglass doors less expensive than wood?
Fiberglass doors that have a quality woodgrain finish are generally about the same price as real wood doors. Paintable fiberglass doors are considerably less expensive.
Are iron doors a better value?
Iron Doors do not require near as much maintenance nor are they prone to warping. Just apply a solution every 2 years to keep it looking brand new!
How does your pricing work for exterior door installations?
We use “Lump-Sum Contracts.” According to Texas law, this allows us to pay taxes on our doors, hardware, and other materials at our wholesale cost when we buy them, rather than the customer paying sales taxes at the retail cost. This also allows for our in-house labor, such as staining or painting, to be nontaxable. The total savings to the customer can be hundreds of dollars.
The law on lump-sum contracts prohibits line-item pricing, so our contracts only show the bottom price, which includes all components, taxes, and labor.
